What makes you get on the #fediverse everyday? What keeps you coming back?
The people, yeah, absolutely. One thing to be said about the fediverse is you end up becoming much closer with users on your instance (/the instances you've been on) than you do with, well, typically anyone on centralized social media in my experience
That said, it doesn't hurt that I've deleted all of my other social media

@deadsuperhero there's just too many good people here for me to not want to come back. i really enjoy myself on here, and thinking back to twitter and even using tumblr right now, i don't get anywhere near as much enjoyment out of the two
there's nice people i met through the two platforms yeah, but i've met more good people here it feels like

very interesting people, and it's really cool to join an instance and the admin will personally welcome you. I also like that because it's smaller, people put in effort to make it work and be engaging. I can toot a question and a bunch of people will respond, and there are really great conversations. In addition, there's a sense of not worrying if you don't know the people you're following. I can respond to someone's cool picture without a clue about who they are and encourage them. I also think it's important to fight back against Facebook and the others, and this is my way of doing that. You can't have a social media without users, so I'm doing my part
