@maiyannah @deadsuperhero It depends on the state. My wife is an art therapist and holds a Master's degree. But many states won't license art therapists are all.

@dragonluvr89 @deadsuperhero Seconding anything CBT-based. It's an incredibly successful system of therapy.

But yeah, it's mostly about where your insurance is accepted and general reviews. I've had a few different counselors, all essentially random, and they've all been legitimately concerned about helping me grow. You can always change providers if necessary, too.

@shoeberto @deadsuperhero Yeah I've been through 15 doctors and therapists in 10 years so don't be afraid to dump anyone who sucks. It's hard to find people good at their jobs anywhere.
