I really love the Medium series that @danrabbit and @cassidyjames curate about #ElementaryOS and apps. Super cool to see so much progress! 😀
It's also uh, kind of tempting me to switch away from Ubuntu 17.10.
@deadsuperhero ElementaryOS is built off Ubuntu 17 soooooo (Or 16 at least.)
@hyper I hadn't realized that it was still Ubuntu-based!
Still, I might consider rolling a vanilla install of it just to save myself from having to tweak too much. I used to install 2-3 desktop environments side by side and it'd inevitably turn into a mess.

@hyper At this point, I may be confusing it with another Ubuntu derivative. It's sort of a rite of passage for many of those distros to eventually re-base a future release on Debian.
@deadsuperhero I prefer Ubuntu over Debian tbh. Just always been more stable on my hardware.
