God, you really have to twist your fingers into a pretzel to play B chords...
@deadsuperhero I just ignore the high E string.
@pybyte oh shit, that's probably way easier
Right now I'm just using my pointer finger as a partial bar from the 5th string, and my third finger as a partial bar across the other three strings on the fourth fret. It's not too bad, and sounds correct for what I want to do.
But I'm going to have to train myself on shifting to this chord like a million times. Which is kind of meh, but I guess learning this is important if I want to play the third chord to Joe's Garage.
@deadsuperhero
I just use B7 or B7+ whenever musically appropriate. I'm pretty sure B7 will work perfectly in Joe's Garage.
@deadsuperhero it's brutal. Who dreamt of this ridiculous torture?
@deadsuperhero I mute the b strong instead of breaking my ring finger
@deadsuperhero
Welcome to playing the guitar :D
@deadsuperhero While we’re at it? Ignore the high E string for the A barre chord as well. Ignore whatever strings you want as long as you get the root and the fifth in a voicing. No Gods No Masters.
@deadsuperhero go with the E-string root version for the Majors -- WAY easier
